Dr. Eugene Ooi earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his residency at the UPMC Eye Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ooi is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. He is currently a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Ooi is in practice with Eye Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Ooi has been in practice since 2009.

Dr. Ooi performs cataract surgery and laser surgery at the Waterfront Surgery Center.
