Dr. Vasiliki “Viki” Christopoulos earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio and her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Christopoulos also completed a fellowship in medical retinal treatment at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England and a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Christopoulos is Board Certified in ophthalmology. She is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Academy of Ophthalmology, Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society, American and European Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Christopoulos is self-employed at Eyepolis in Homestead. Dr. Christopoulos has been in practice in the Pittsburgh area since 2010.
Dr. Christopoulos performs cataract surgery, corneal transplants, glaucoma laser surgery (SLT) and YAG laser procedure at the Waterfront Surgery Center.
Dr. Christopoulos has an ownership interest in the Waterfront Surgery Center.
